Caroline Cleave

Caroline works from her valley studio in the heart of Port Isaac on the north coast of Cornwall and through her work shares her passion for conservation of the coast and countryside.

Her designs are licensed and distributed by a major UK company and also reproduced in books and on textiles and ceramics, and used by the National Lobster Hatchery, National Marine Aquarium, and Forest schools.

Working imaginatively with textiles or creating beautiful sculptures, Caroline is an artist whose work reflects her love of scale and colour.

Rooted in Cornwall, she enjoys collaborating and exhibiting with like minded artists and creatives!

Using her teaching background, Caroline Cleave is both experienced and skilled in working with young people and coordinating large creative projects.

Her innovative approach enables her to weave together strands of the curriculum into a rich cross curricular learning. A good example of this is her educational work, which is permanently displayed at the Eden Project in Cornwall.
