Emma Mansfield


Over the last decade Emma has performed as a solo singer, as part of a number of choirs and have arranged and conducted numerous groups, youth and school choirs. Today she works for a number of individuals, schools and youth music organisations as a music leader and vocal coach. She also takes adults and young people for private singing lessons or vocal development.

Choir Leader and Musical Director Credits:

Doubletrees School: For the last 4 years she has volunteered with teachers at Doubletrees School in St Blazey to create an inspirational singing and signing choir who now delight audiences throughout the area and have appeared as special guests at the Hall for Cornwall.

St Austell College: In 2008 she took the role of vocal performance tutor for Cornwall College Performing Arts Foundation Degree.

Lost in Song: Since 2006 Emma has been the founder and director of Lostwithiel’s 50-strong community choir.

Roseland Voices: In 2008 Emma became choir leader for The Roseland Community School running both an adult and after school choir.

Ministry of Song: In 2009 Vicky Abbott, MD of the 50 Degrees and Blazing Hearts Chorus, and Emma founded a county-wide singing project developing vocal versions of dance music, which was funded by FEAST and performed at the Eden Project in 2010.
